The album
The show, which was recorded on August 5 and 6 at the Mars Theater in São Paulo, counts on the participation of special guests.
Marcelo Nova, Negra Li, the RZO group and Marcelo D2 sang with Chorão no Acústico.
In the repertoire there are 3 re-readings of other composers, such as “Samba Makossa” (Chico Science, with special participation of Marcelo D2),
“Hoje” (Venus Shirt), with Marcelo Nova’s participation, and “Oba, Lá Vem Ela “(Jorge Ben Jor); 2 unpublished songs (Vices and Virtues, and Not Use Shoe), some songs “repaginadas” (like “Breakwater”, that was completely different from the original) besides several successes of the band.
The DVD contains, in the extras, interviews with the band, the making-of of the recording, comments track to track and a duel of beat-box.
